Although
the centre is expensive to run we make no set charges but rely
on visitors' donations.
Computer Training (CLAIT
level l IT)
Would
you like a more formal training in IT? This is modular
in design and although our training is free there is a charge
for the exam board award (not compulsory). The course modules
cover a wide range of topics from which you can choose those
that interest you. This course takes place on Tuesday
mornings from 10am till 12pm in the Computer Centre. For more

BECOME
A VOLUNTEER
The Centre is operated by a team
of volunteers who give their time without charge and who come
from a wide range of background experiences. If you feel that
you would like to become a volunteer in our Computer Centre
then please contact us on 01273 720 603.
You do not need to be a computer expert, you just need to have
a general knowledge of computers, good communication skills
and enjoy helping others to learn new skills.
The centre has a
range of more advanced software (desktop publishing, web
publishing, graphics programs) and hardware (scanners,
digital cameras and videos) that you can use. In order to
ensure these are available for your visit please contact us
