Nail cutting

The Nail cutting Service is based is based at 29-31 Prestonville Rd

Our nail cutting staff have received basic training in nail cutting only.

This is not a chiropody Service

Our nail cutting service is available to those with:

Impaired eyesight.
Reduced mobility because of arthritic changes.
An inability to reach their feet for physical or medical reasons.
Those for whom it is unsafe or impractical to undertake this task themselves

You will not not be eligible for this service and will need to contact a chiropodist if,

Your nails are too thick to cut with clippers.
You have Diabetes,however it may be treated.
You have circulatory problems.
You take certain medications such as:- Steroids (blue card) Anticoagulants (green card)
Immunosuppressive or Chemotheraputic agents.

The nail cutter will keep a written record of the nail cutting and will book further appointments on request. The length of time between appointments will depend on your need and availability of the nail cutter Please note that due to the nature of the service appointment times are only approximate.

Clinics are based at Age Concern 29 - 31 Prestonville Rd, Seven Dials, Portslade Health Clinic, Church Rd, Portslade and the Whitehawk Clinic, Whitehawk.
